WTA US Open 2022 odds, analysis & statistics
The US Open 2022 gets underway at Flushing Meadows next week, but who will claim the final Grand Slam title of the year in the Women's Singles event?
Emma Raducanu was a shock winner in New York 12 months ago, beating fellow teenager Leylah Fernandez 6-4 6-3 in the final to land her first Grand Slam success at only the second attempt.
The Brit is back to defend her title this year, but with three different women having won the Australian Open, French Open, and Wimbledon in 2022, it promises to be another wide-open tournament.

World number one Iga Swiatek has been the standout performer on the WTA Tour this year, winning six titles, including a second Grand Slam at the French Open in June.
Iga Swiatek embarked on a 37-match winning streak this year.
The 21-year-old even embarked on a 37-match winning run earlier in the year – the longest such sequence of the 21st century – before a third-round defeat at Wimbledon to Alize Cornet brought that to an abrupt end.
Since then, Swiatek's form has been a little patchier, as she has lost at the last-16 stage of both the Canadian Open and the Western & Southern Open, but she remains fancied at 2.950* to land her third Grand Slam title in New York.
Swiatek may be renowned as a clay-court specialist, but she underlined her credentials on hard surfaces with a run to the semi-finals of this year's Australian Open, although she has never been beyond the fourth round at Flushing Meadows.
WTA US Open 2022 predictions: Former champions hoping for a renaissance
There are six former champions set to feature in the first-round draw at this year's US Open, including six-time winner Serena Williams, who plans to retire from the sport following the tournament.
Williams won the last of her six US Open titles in 2014 and she comes into this year's tournament having featured in just three WTA Events to date in 2022.
An undercooked Williams cannot be written off given her quality, but she is priced at 27.480* to equal Margaret Court's record of 24 Grand Slam successes by winning this year's US Open.
Another former champion heading into this tournament with not much tennis under her belt this year is two-time champion Naomi Osaka, who has won just two matches on the WTA Tour since April.
Osaka is a proven big-match player, with four of her seven career successes coming in Grand Slam events, and she is priced at 8.140* to make it a hat-trick of US Open titles this year.
WTA US Open 2022 futures: Raducanu repeat seems unlikely
Teenager Raducanu's triumph at last year's US Open captured the imagination of the sporting world, as the then 18-year-old became the first singles qualifier in the open era to lift the title.
However, her form since that success has tapered slightly, as she has failed to make it beyond the second round of any of this year's Grand Slam tournaments.
Comprehensive wins over Serena Williams and another former world number one, Victoria Azarenka, at this month's Western & Southern Open has raised hopes that Raducanu could be returning to form just in time to mount a successful title defence. However, with the eyes of the world likely to be on her, it may be a bit too much to expect Raducanu to defend her title, although she can be backed at 13.730* to do exactly that.
