England vs. Italy predictions

Saturday's UEFA Nations League clash at Molineux offers England the chance to exact some revenge over Italy.

England suffered a penalty shootout loss to Italy in the final of Euro 2020 at Wembley and that defeat will undoubtedly be a major motivation for Gareth Southgate’s men.

The Three Lions are unbeaten in 16 games at home, excluding penalty shootouts, and will be keen to build momentum ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Saturday's encounter is set to be England's first home outing of the 2022/23 Nations League and they have won three of their last four games at home in the competition.

Italy's recent away record will be of some concern to England though, with the Azzurri avoiding defeat in each of their last 14 games outside of major competitions.

They are unbeaten in their last four away games in the Nations League, winning three, while they have not conceded a goal in that run.

Hungary vs. Germany predictions

After earning an historic 1-0 win over England to kick off their 2022/23 Nations League campaign in Budapest, Hungary face another tough test back on home soil when Germany visit on Saturday.

Hungary have caused plenty of problems for Europe's elite over the past few years and Germany certainly won't be underestimating their opponents at the Puskas Arena.

The most recent meeting between the two nations ended in a 2-2 draw at Euro 2020 as Germany twice came from behind to earn a point. That result came under former boss Joachim Low, though, and Die Mannschaft look a much stronger outfit with new manager Hansi Flick at the helm.

Germany haven't lost on the road with Flick in charge, winning four and drawing two and that should stand them in good stead against the Magyars.

Spain vs. Czech Republic predictions

Czech Republic

Spain and the Czech Republic meet for the second time in eight days when they battle it out at the Estadio La Rosaleda in Malaga on Sunday.

La Roja twice came from behind courtesy of goals from Gavi and Inigo Martinez to claim a share of the spoils in Prague on June 5. That draw was Spain's second in as many games in this season's Nations League after playing out a 1-1 stalemate with Portugal in their opener.

The Czech Republic have also yet to lose in this season's Nations League, collecting four points from their two games. They kicked off their campaign with a 2-1 win at home to Switzerland before the draw against Spain at Sinobo Stadium last time out.

Spain have won their last three home games against the Czech Republic, keeping two clean sheets in those three outings.
