System Overview

TS1200A Carrier-Grade Rack-Mountable Rear I/O Server is a robust industrial server intended for the demanding environment and limited space of central offices and highly-available data centers.

Featuring the Tyan Tiger K8WE (S2877) motherboard with single or dual AMD Single or Dual Core Opteron™ processors, the TS120A is ideal for compute-intensive next-generation Telecom and data application solutions. Its compact 1U chassis is 20” deep and is oriented with rear-panel I/O access and –48VDC power supply, AC optional. The system has been designed to accommodate a full length-full height PCI expansion card and up to two hot-swap SATA drive bays across the front panel. The TS1200A can be supplied with a Telco Option that includes Dual DC feeds and an internal Telco alarm with Front and Rear LEDs and a rear alarm port.

The TS1200A offers unparalleled price performance compared to other carrier-grade servers in its size range. PDSi offers customized front bezel designs and branding for a unique OEM product look and feel. The TS1200A is a stable solution with long-term availability and extended lifecycle support options.
