Pinnacle Data Systems, Inc. (PDSi) offers a range of innovative services specifically for the Telecommunications market space. PDSi works closely with Network Equipment Providers (NEPs) to develop NEP-specific turnkey solutions to help accelerate time to market, improve overall operating cost structure and provide a flexible and responsive support mechanism to meet rapidly changing business requirements.
PDSi has partnered with AMD to design a cutting-edge dual-core AMD Opteron processor-based AdvancedTCA® reference design kit for next generation Telecom applications and can provide the following services:

Fulfillment
Off the shelf fulfillment of boards based on the AdvancedTCA® reference design kit.

Modification of PDSi’s AdvancedTCA® reference design kit to meet application specific requirements.

Integration
A complete, integrated solution. PDSi will provide integration and test services with the AdvancedTCA® reference design kit, including interoperability testing with the chassis, switches, AMC cards, OS, middleware and software.

Dual AMD Opteron ATCA® Blade with RTM Interface
PDSI’s new Dual AMD Opteron ATCA® Blade with RTM Interface (ATCA-F1) provides a robust, high-performance general purpose compute platform for use in building AdvancedTCA® systems. Architected around AMD Opteron processors with HyperTransport technology, it features two “Socket F” CPU sockets that can be populated with either 2200 series dual-core or the latest 2300 series quad-core processors for ultimate computing power in the carrier-grade AdvancedTCA form factor.

AMD Socket AM2 Processor AMC
PDSI’s new AMD Socket AM2 AMC Processor Module (AMC-A2) is a high performance computing module for use in AdvancedTCA® and MicroTCA (μTCA) systems. Designed around AMD’s latest x86-based Athlon processors, it provides exceptional computing power in the convenient and versatile AdvancedMC (AMC) form factor.

Dual Display ATI E2400 XMC Graphics Module
PDSI’s new dual display graphics module (XMC-E24D) is a versatile, high performance graphics subsystem featuring high speed switched XMC interconnects in the familiar CMC/PMC form factor. It is designed for use with VITA 42.3 compatible VME, CompactPCI®, AdvancedTCA®, and PCI Express processor boards with an XMC mezzanine card interface. Using the ATI Radeon E2400 Graphics controller from AMD (based on ATI’s “M72” core), the module enables these systems to take full advantage of AMD’s advanced graphics technology.

ATCA AMD Socket F Blade
The AMD AdvancedTCA® blade can be quickly and easily integrated with other AdvancedTCA®, open-architecture, modular components to deploy high performance application solutions. The PICMG® 3.0 core AdvancedTCA® specification provides the advantages of being focused on the definition of an architecture that enables reduced development time and costs, offers high levels of modularity and configurability, improved power distribution and management, offers an advanced software infrastructure providing operating systems, application programming interface (API), and operation, administration, management, and provisioning (OAM&P).

TS2200A Telco Server
The TS2200A is a cost-effective NEBS® Level 3 compliant rack-mount or stand-alone platform. The TS2200A platform comes with two AMD Opteron dual-core processors, up to 32 GB of DDR2 memory, and features IPMI System Management.

PDSi is committed to placing only RoHS compliant products on the market in the EU after June 30, 2006. We are also committed to complying with requirements of other applicable current or future environmental laws, where PDSi does business. Specific details about our products are available upon request.
Labeling is not required by the RoHS Directive and no industry or regulatory standard for RoHS labeling exists. Currently, PDSi does not intend to label products as RoHS-compliant.
PDSi's RoHS compliance planning is based on conformance to the RoHS Directive issued by the EU, and not on any specific Member State legislation or legislation from any other countries. As other environmental regulations are passed by the U.S. or other countries in which PDSi does business, PDSi's compliance planning will respond accordingly.
